Thunderstorm potential increases across western Alberta
Later this afternoon and evening, there is a moderate risk of thunderstorms developing over western Alberta, with some of these storms potentially reaching severe levels. These storm cells are expected to track eastward into the Red Deer region by tonight.

Daytime temperatures will drop significantly, with highs around 19 °C (66 °F) and a low of 14 °C (57 °F) in the morning. Wind gusts will continue in the 30 to 40 km/h range, adding a brisk element to the day.
