Tuesday, June 17<\/strong> will bring a 30% chance of evening showers<\/strong>, wrapping up a warm and sunny afternoon<\/strong>. The high will reach 28\u202f\u00b0C (82\u202f\u00b0F)<\/strong>, with a humidex of 30<\/strong> and a very high UV index of 9<\/strong>. Overnight, the sky will become cloudy and humid<\/strong>, with a low of 18\u202f\u00b0C (64\u202f\u00b0F)<\/strong> and a risk of light precipitation<\/strong> by nightfall.<\/p>\n

These spotty showers<\/strong> mark the beginning of a wetter pattern<\/strong> that will likely persist through to Friday, June 21<\/strong>, the first official day of summer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

STM service disrupted due to maintenance strike<\/strong><\/p>\n

On both Sunday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 17<\/strong>, the STM maintenance workers\u2019 strike<\/strong> continues to affect bus and m\u00e9tro service<\/strong> across Montreal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Service during peak hours<\/strong> will remain operational as follows:<\/p>\n

Buses<\/strong>: from 6:15 to 9:15 a.m.<\/strong>, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.<\/strong>, and 11:15 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.<\/strong>
\nM\u00e9tro<\/strong>: from 6:30 to 9:38 a.m.<\/strong>, 2:45 to 5:48 p.m.<\/strong>, and 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Outside of these times, transit service will operate at up to 50% capacity<\/strong>, which will likely result in delays and limited frequency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Monday, June 16<\/strong> was the only fully sunny day<\/strong> in the forecast this week. Starting today, expect an increase in cloud cover<\/strong> and intermittent rainfall<\/strong>, becoming more frequent toward Friday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
