Ce mois pourrait en effet devenir <strong>le plus sombre des cinquante derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es<\/strong> dans la r\u00e9gion, avec un <strong>manque d\u2019ensoleillement in\u00e9gal\u00e9<\/strong> depuis le d\u00e9but des relev\u00e9s en <strong>1969<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 <strong>Montr\u00e9al<\/strong>, entre le <strong>18 et le 24 mai<\/strong>, on a enregistr\u00e9 <strong>\u00e0 peine une heure et demie de soleil<\/strong>, soit un total <strong>drastiquement bas<\/strong> pour cette p\u00e9riode. Depuis le d\u00e9but du mois, <strong>Montr\u00e9al<\/strong> et <strong>Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong> affichent seulement <strong>autour de 100 heures d\u2019ensoleillement<\/strong>, alors que la moyenne normale pour un mois de mai d\u00e9passe largement les <strong>200 heures<\/strong>. Pour mettre cela en perspective, le <strong>triste record actuel<\/strong> remonte \u00e0 <strong>mai 2017<\/strong>, avec <strong>148 heures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Un seuil historique pourrait \u00eatre franchi<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Selon les pr\u00e9visions, <strong>30 \u00e0 40 heures suppl\u00e9mentaires<\/strong> de soleil pourraient s\u2019ajouter d\u2019ici <strong>mercredi<\/strong>, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 <strong>deux journ\u00e9es plus lumineuses<\/strong> pr\u00e9vues. Toutefois, <strong>d\u00e8s jeudi<\/strong>, <strong>la grisaille, la pluie et la fra\u00eecheur<\/strong> feront leur retour, r\u00e9duisant les chances de d\u00e9passer le seuil symbolique des <strong>148 heures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ce d\u00e9ficit d\u2019ensoleillement pourrait donc <strong>\u00e9tablir un nouveau record<\/strong>, pla\u00e7ant <strong>mai 2025<\/strong> comme <strong>le mois le moins ensoleill\u00e9 depuis plus d\u2019un demi-si\u00e8cle<\/strong> \u00e0 <strong>Montr\u00e9al<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Fort Smith sous une chaleur inusit\u00e9e : un contraste m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique saisissant<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Pendant que le <strong>Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong> lutte contre un ciel constamment voil\u00e9, la <strong>ville de Fort Smith<\/strong>, dans le <strong>sud des Territoires du Nord-Ouest<\/strong>, vit une <strong>situation totalement oppos\u00e9e<\/strong>. Cette semaine, on y pr\u00e9voit des <strong>temp\u00e9ratures d\u00e9passant les 30\u202f\u00b0C (86 \u00b0F)<\/strong>, ce qui est <strong>exceptionnel<\/strong> pour la r\u00e9gion nordique \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode de l\u2019ann\u00e9e.
