Plusieurs r\u00e9gions, notamment <strong>Gatineau<\/strong>, ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 ressenti des <strong>temp\u00e9ratures inf\u00e9rieures \u00e0 la normale<\/strong> \u2013 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 <strong>5 \u00b0C de moins<\/strong> durant une p\u00e9riode de cinq jours. Cette fra\u00eecheur persistante prolonge <strong>l\u2019impression d\u2019un printemps<\/strong>, repoussant l\u2019arriv\u00e9e des <strong>premiers 24 \u00b0C<\/strong> typiques du d\u00e9but de saison. Dans le <strong>sud<\/strong> et le <strong>centre de la province<\/strong>, les temp\u00e9ratures maximales estivales se manifestent habituellement vers la <strong>mi-juin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Un d\u00f4me de chaleur impressionnant, mais centr\u00e9 plus \u00e0 l\u2019ouest<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Le grand acteur m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique de cet \u00e9t\u00e9 sera <strong>un puissant d\u00f4me de chaleur<\/strong> camp\u00e9 <strong>au centre du continent nord-am\u00e9ricain<\/strong>. Il s\u2019\u00e9tendra surtout sur les <strong>\u00c9tats centraux am\u00e9ricains<\/strong> et les <strong>provinces canadiennes des Prairies<\/strong>, comme <strong>l\u2019Alberta<\/strong>, <strong>la Saskatchewan<\/strong> et <strong>le Manitoba<\/strong>. Dans ces zones, <strong>les temp\u00e9ratures exc\u00e9deront largement les normales<\/strong>, engendrant <strong>des \u00e9pisodes caniculaires r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame si le <strong>Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong> n\u2019est pas situ\u00e9 directement sous ce d\u00f4me, <strong>ses effets s\u2019y feront sentir<\/strong>. Les <strong>nuit\u00e9es y seront chaudes et moites<\/strong>, augmentant <strong>la temp\u00e9rature moyenne quotidienne<\/strong>. Le jour, les maximums resteront autour ou au-dessus des normales, mais ce sont <strong>les nuits tropicales<\/strong>, charg\u00e9es en <strong>humidit\u00e9<\/strong>, qui pourraient marquer <strong>la m\u00e9moire collective<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>La ceinture de feu : instabilit\u00e9 et orages fr\u00e9quents<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Accompagnant ce d\u00f4me, <strong>une \u201cceinture de feu\u201d instable<\/strong> se dessinera autour de lui, cr\u00e9ant un <strong>fort contraste thermique<\/strong> propice \u00e0 la formation de <strong>nombreux orages<\/strong>. Cette zone instable g\u00e9n\u00e9rera <strong>de l\u2019activit\u00e9 orageuse fr\u00e9quente jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019est du Canada<\/strong>, incluant le <strong>Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Selon le m\u00e9t\u00e9orologue <strong>Andr\u00e9 Monette<\/strong>, <strong>la province oscillera entre les cr\u00eates et les creux atmosph\u00e9riques<\/strong>, provoquant une alternance entre <strong>beau temps temporaire<\/strong> et <strong>ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes violents<\/strong>. Ainsi, on pourrait assister \u00e0 plus de <strong>17 jours d\u2019orages violents<\/strong>, au-dessus de la <strong>moyenne estivale<\/strong> habituelle, m\u00eame si le <strong>nombre de vagues de chaleur (quatre)<\/strong> devrait se maintenir au standard saisonnier.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Un \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s humide : pluies abondantes et risques d\u2019inondations localis\u00e9es<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Les pr\u00e9cipitations s\u2019annoncent sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 la normale<\/strong> dans plusieurs r\u00e9gions, notamment <strong>le sud<\/strong>, <strong>l\u2019est<\/strong> et <strong>le nord-ouest du Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong>. Le couloir reliant <strong>Pontiac<\/strong> \u00e0 <strong>Sept-\u00celes<\/strong> sera <strong>particuli\u00e8rement touch\u00e9<\/strong>. Ces pluies, bien que <strong>moins extr\u00eames que celles de l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2024<\/strong>, seront nourries par <strong>des orages convectifs fr\u00e9quents<\/strong>, aliment\u00e9s par <strong>l\u2019humidit\u00e9 pi\u00e9g\u00e9e sous le d\u00f4me<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>En <strong>2024<\/strong>, <strong>Montr\u00e9al<\/strong> avait battu un record en recevant <strong>180 % de sa pluie estivale habituelle<\/strong>, dont <strong>154 mm en une seule journ\u00e9e<\/strong> le <strong>9 ao\u00fbt<\/strong>, \u00e0 cause des restes de <strong>la temp\u00eate tropicale Debby<\/strong>. Cette ann\u00e9e encore, <strong>les r\u00e9sidus de temp\u00eates tropicales atlantiques<\/strong> pourraient remonter jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la province.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Activit\u00e9 tropicale intense dans l\u2019Atlantique : un facteur aggravant<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La <strong>saison des ouragans dans l\u2019Atlantique<\/strong> s\u2019annonce tr\u00e8s active, en raison de <strong>la disparition d\u2019El Ni\u00f1o<\/strong>, de <strong>la chaleur anormale des eaux de surface<\/strong> et de <strong>la mousson intense attendue en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest<\/strong>. Les <strong>restes de cyclones tropicaux<\/strong> pourraient donc atteindre <strong>le Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong>, comme ce fut le cas en 2024 avec <strong>Beryl<\/strong> et <strong>Debby<\/strong>, provoquant <strong>des accumulations de pluie importantes et soudaines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Feux de for\u00eat et qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019air en jeu<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Enfin, ce cocktail m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique <strong>soul\u00e8ve un risque notable d\u2019incendies<\/strong>. Bien que <strong>le danger soit plus marqu\u00e9 dans le nord du Manitoba et de l\u2019Ontario<\/strong>, <strong>la fum\u00e9e des feux pourrait affecter la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019air au Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong>, m\u00eame si le territoire n\u2019est pas directement menac\u00e9.
