D\u00e8s la matin\u00e9e, des <strong>veilles d\u2019orages violents<\/strong> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9mises, suivies de <strong>deux alertes de tornade<\/strong>. La premi\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9e pr\u00e8s de <strong>La Tuque<\/strong>, la seconde en soir\u00e9e \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la <strong>r\u00e9serve faunique des Laurentides<\/strong>. \u00c0 <strong>Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong>, le traditionnel spectacle sur les <strong>Plaines d\u2019Abraham<\/strong> a d\u00fb \u00eatre <strong>annul\u00e9<\/strong> et les lieux <strong>\u00e9vacu\u00e9s<\/strong>, en raison de conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9o jug\u00e9es <strong>dangereuses<\/strong>. Les orages ont persist\u00e9 jusque vers <strong>23 h<\/strong>, laissant derri\u00e8re eux un ciel encore charg\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Mardi 24 juin : chaleur \u00e9touffante et orages isol\u00e9s en Estrie et en Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>En ce <strong>mardi 24 juin 2025<\/strong>, <strong>jour officiel de la f\u00eate nationale<\/strong>, le <strong>sud du Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong> continue de suffoquer sous une <strong>chaleur accablante<\/strong>. Les temp\u00e9ratures d\u00e9passent localement les <strong>30 \u00b0C (86 \u00b0F)<\/strong>, avec un <strong>taux d\u2019humidit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9<\/strong> qui rend l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re <strong>oppressante<\/strong>. Dans ce contexte, <strong>des orages<\/strong> sont possibles en apr\u00e8s-midi, bien que leur <strong>intensit\u00e9<\/strong> s\u2019annonce <strong>moindre<\/strong> que ceux observ\u00e9s lundi.<\/p>\n<p>Les secteurs les plus \u00e0 risque sont ceux situ\u00e9s \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la <strong>fronti\u00e8re am\u00e9ricaine<\/strong>, notamment en <strong>Estrie<\/strong> et en <strong>Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie<\/strong>, o\u00f9 <strong>quelques cellules orageuses isol\u00e9es<\/strong> pourraient se former. Ces orages pourraient \u00eatre accompagn\u00e9s de <strong>fortes rafales<\/strong>, de <strong>petits gr\u00ealons<\/strong> et de <strong>pluies abondantes<\/strong> sur de courtes p\u00e9riodes.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Des orages plus mod\u00e9r\u00e9s, sans crit\u00e8res de s\u00e9v\u00e9rit\u00e9<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Bien que <strong>tonnerre<\/strong> et <strong>\u00e9clairs<\/strong> puissent de nouveau faire leur apparition en apr\u00e8s-midi dans certaines r\u00e9gions, aucun crit\u00e8re ne permettrait de qualifier ces ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes de \u00ab violents \u00bb selon les standards habituels. On rappelle que les orages dits <strong>violents<\/strong> se caract\u00e9risent par des <strong>vents d\u00e9passant 90 km\/h<\/strong>, des <strong>tornades<\/strong>, ou encore plus de <strong>50 mm de pluie en moins d\u2019une heure<\/strong> sur un m\u00eame secteur.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Activit\u00e9 orageuse pr\u00e9vue jusqu\u2019en soir\u00e9e, m\u00e9t\u00e9o plus cl\u00e9mente pour les feux d\u2019artifice<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Les <strong>orages<\/strong> attendus devraient <strong>se dissiper t\u00f4t en soir\u00e9e<\/strong>, laissant esp\u00e9rer une accalmie pour les festivit\u00e9s de la <strong>Saint-Jean-Baptiste<\/strong>, notamment les <strong>feux d\u2019artifice<\/strong> pr\u00e9vus dans plusieurs municipalit\u00e9s du <strong>sud de la province<\/strong>.
