🌥️ Saturday forecast across Monmouth and Ocean Counties

Expect a cloudy and damp start to the weekend along the Jersey Shore, with both Monmouth County and Ocean County experiencing a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day on Saturday.

In Monmouth County, rain is most likely in the morning, especially before 11 a.m., with possible thunderstorms developing into the afternoon. Skies will remain cloudy with a high around 68°F (20°C). Northeast winds will prevail. Rainfall amounts should be between 0.10 to 0.25 inches, though locally heavier downpours could occur in storms.

In Ocean County, the forecast is similar, though slightly warmer, with a high near 70°F (21°C). Precipitation totals here are expected to stay below 0.10 inches, except in thunderstorms, where heavier bursts are possible.

By Saturday night, both counties should see only a 30–40% chance of lingering showers, under persistent cloud cover, with overnight lows near 58°F (14°C). Winds remain light and out of the east or northeast, and rainfall amounts will be minimal.

🌧️ Sunday conditions and possible late storms

Sunday continues the trend of mostly cloudy skies and intermittent showers. For both Monmouth and Ocean, the probability of rain sits at 30% during the day, though thunderstorms may develop after 5 p.m..

Daytime temperatures remain steady, with highs near 67°F (19°C) in Monmouth and 68°F (20°C) in Ocean County. East winds will continue, and rainfall totals are generally light, less than 0.10 inches, barring thunderstorm activity.

As we head into Sunday night, the risk for showers and thunderstorms increases slightly, reaching 40% in Monmouth and 50% in Ocean, with overnight lows again near 59°F (15°C).

🌥️ Looking ahead to Monday

Both counties can expect mostly cloudy skies to persist into Monday, with a 50% chance of scattered showers. Temperatures will hold near 69°F (21°C).

⛱️ Planning for the weekend at the Shore

If you’re visiting the Jersey Shore this weekend, prepare for cloudy skies, on-and-off showers, and potential afternoon storms. While no single day looks like a total washout, you’ll definitely want to keep an umbrella or rain jacket handy, especially for Saturday morning and Sunday evening.
