However, in locations south of the New York State Thruway<\/strong>, temperatures could fall to the mid-30s\u00b0F<\/strong> (approximately 1 to 2\u00b0C<\/strong>).<\/p>\n For context, the typical low<\/strong> for Rochester<\/strong> in mid-May<\/strong> is 49\u00b0F<\/strong> (around 9\u00b0C<\/strong>), with average highs near 70\u00b0F<\/strong> (about 21\u00b0C<\/strong>).
