The alert stretches from Llano<\/strong>, Blanco<\/strong>, and Gillespie counties<\/strong>, down through Uvalde County<\/strong> to Eagle Pass<\/strong>, signaling an elevated risk for tornado activity<\/strong>, large hail<\/strong>, and damaging wind gusts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Travis County<\/strong>, along with Bexar County<\/strong> and 38 additional municipalities<\/strong>, is expected to experience strong thunderstorms<\/strong> beginning this afternoon<\/strong>, intensifying into the night<\/strong>. This system carries a significant threat of damaging winds<\/strong>, hail<\/strong>, and potentially isolated tornadoes<\/strong>, especially along the Interstate 35 corridor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The National Weather Service<\/strong> has placed Austin<\/strong>, Georgetown<\/strong>, Burnet<\/strong>, Fredericksburg<\/strong>, Kerrville<\/strong>, and nearby locations under an “enhanced risk<\/strong>” for severe storms from 4 p.m. Monday<\/strong> through 5 a.m. Tuesday<\/strong>.
