However, the calm start is not expected to last<\/strong>, as the weather pattern remains highly dynamic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n By late morning into early afternoon<\/strong>, increasing sunshine<\/strong> will drive temperatures upward<\/strong>, pushing San Antonio<\/strong> into the mid-80s\u00b0F (around 29\u00b0C)<\/strong> by noon, with highs peaking in the low 90s\u00b0F (32-34\u00b0C)<\/strong> later in the day. Some of these early morning storms may be strong<\/strong>, particularly between 2 and 6 a.m.<\/strong>, and capable of producing hail<\/strong> and flash flooding<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Storm Prediction Center<\/strong> places San Antonio<\/strong> under a Level 1 out of 5 risk for severe weather<\/strong> during this timeframe.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Friday weather trends and weekend preview<\/strong><\/p>\n A weak cold front<\/strong> will slip into Central and South Texas<\/strong> on Friday morning<\/strong>. While temperatures won’t drop significantly<\/strong>, highs will back off slightly<\/strong>, topping out in the mid- to upper 80s\u00b0F (29-31\u00b0C)<\/strong>. A few scattered afternoon storms<\/strong> remain possible, but overall rain chances will be around 20%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n By Saturday<\/strong>, the weather stabilizes<\/strong>, with morning lows near 70\u00b0F (21\u00b0C)<\/strong> and afternoon highs in the upper 80s\u00b0F (31\u00b0C)<\/strong>.
