Overnight lows will settle in the <strong>mid-50s \u00b0F (12\u201313 \u00b0C)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coastal areas hold steady, inland areas boil<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While <strong>Oakland<\/strong>, <strong>Berkeley<\/strong>, and <strong>Alameda<\/strong> might see highs in the <strong>upper 70s to low 80s<\/strong> \u00b0F (<strong>25\u201328 \u00b0C<\/strong>), communities <strong>east of the Caldecott Tunnel<\/strong> like <strong>Walnut Creek<\/strong> and <strong>Pleasanton<\/strong> are expected to climb into the <strong>mid-90s to low 100s \u00b0F (35\u201338 \u00b0C)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Farther inland, <strong>Antioch<\/strong> and <strong>Brentwood<\/strong> may touch <strong>100 \u00b0F (38 \u00b0C)<\/strong> for the <strong>first time this year<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>weeks earlier than usual<\/strong>. Meanwhile, <strong>Vallejo<\/strong>, <strong>Petaluma<\/strong>, and <strong>Western Marin<\/strong> will remain much cooler, with <strong>highs in the 60s to upper 80s \u00b0F (16\u201331 \u00b0C)<\/strong>, depending on their proximity to the coast.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Santa Clara Valley and South Bay under heat advisory<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From <strong>11 a.m. Friday<\/strong>, a <strong>heat advisory<\/strong> is in effect for the <strong>Santa Clara Valley<\/strong> and <strong>Santa Cruz Mountains<\/strong>, where <strong>temperatures will soar into the mid-90s to 100 \u00b0F (35\u201338 \u00b0C)<\/strong>. <strong>Morgan Hill<\/strong> and <strong>Gilroy<\/strong> are most likely to hit the <strong>century mark<\/strong>, while <strong>San Jose<\/strong>, <strong>Santa Clara<\/strong>, and <strong>Milpitas<\/strong> stay slightly cooler, in the <strong>90s \u00b0F (32\u201335 \u00b0C)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast, <strong>Santa Cruz<\/strong> and coastal areas will feel relatively mild, with <strong>temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s \u00b0F (25\u201327 \u00b0C)<\/strong>. <strong>Overnight lows<\/strong> in the mountains will hover in the <strong>low to mid-60s \u00b0F (16\u201318 \u00b0C)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday&#8217;s weather will echo Friday&#8217;s pattern<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Saturday<\/strong>, expect another <strong>hot day inland<\/strong>, but with <strong>slightly stronger sea breezes<\/strong> keeping <strong>coastal cities cooler<\/strong>. <strong>San Francisco<\/strong> will again see <strong>60s to 70s \u00b0F (16\u201325 \u00b0C)<\/strong> depending on location, while <strong>Vacaville<\/strong>, <strong>Fairfield<\/strong>, and <strong>Brentwood<\/strong> could see highs reach <strong>103 \u00b0F (39 \u00b0C)<\/strong>.
