New York<\/strong>, June 4 \u2014 Stargazers across New York State<\/strong> might be treated to another breathtaking celestial display<\/strong> tonight, as the northern lights<\/strong> \u2014 or aurora borealis<\/strong> \u2014 may again become visible across the state<\/strong>, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n After a spectacular light show on Sunday night<\/strong>, when a geomagnetic storm<\/strong> pushed the aurora down from Canada<\/strong> into northern New York<\/strong>, NOAA is forecasting a 10% to 50% probability<\/strong> of auroral visibility<\/strong> for Monday night into early Tuesday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n NOAA\u2019s aurora forecast map<\/strong> indicates the first glimmers<\/strong> may appear as early as 10:45 p.m.<\/strong> in northern regions<\/strong> of the state.
