As drier air filters into the region, expect high temperatures<\/strong> to stay in the mid to upper 80s\u00b0F<\/strong> (approximately 29\u201331\u00b0C<\/strong>) under mostly sunny skies<\/strong>. This brief window of relief will offer a much-needed pause from the oppressive humidity levels<\/strong> that dominated the weekend.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n More storms and rain by Thursday<\/strong><\/p>\n Starting Thursday, June 12<\/strong>, a moisture-laden air mass<\/strong> will begin to move back into the state<\/strong>, as an upper-level low pressure system<\/strong> sets up nearby. This shift will lead to scattered thunderstorms<\/strong> and increased cloud coverage<\/strong> across much of Arkansas<\/strong>, especially during the afternoon hours<\/strong>. Some of these showers and storms<\/strong> could linger into the evening<\/strong>, though they\u2019ll generally taper off overnight.<\/p>\n Rainfall will not be uniform.
