The formal severe thunderstorm warnings<\/strong> issued earlier in the day expired by 10:45 a.m.<\/strong> for those counties, while Beaufort County’s alert ended at 10:15 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Radar activity and storm movement<\/strong><\/p>\n Earlier, Doppler radar<\/strong> tracked a fast-moving storm line<\/strong> stretching from 6 miles south of Cross<\/strong> to Kiawah Island<\/strong>, pushing northeast at 45 mph<\/strong>. These storms delivered gusty winds<\/strong>, intense rainfall<\/strong>, and the risk of hail<\/strong>, potentially causing damage to roofs, siding, and vegetation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Although this primary system has cleared, isolated thunderstorms<\/strong> remain possible throughout Tuesday afternoon<\/strong>, especially in the Lowcountry<\/strong>.
