According to the <strong>National Weather Service<\/strong>, <strong>St. Cloud<\/strong> recorded <strong>1.10 inches<\/strong> of rain at the <strong>St. Cloud Regional Airport<\/strong>, but other communities have seen <strong>far more dangerous amounts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As of <strong>Friday morning<\/strong>, some of the <strong>highest rainfall totals<\/strong> included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Raymond<\/strong>: <strong>6.86 inches<\/strong> (174.2 mm)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Willmar<\/strong>: <strong>4.21 inches<\/strong> (106.9 mm)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Appleton<\/strong>: <strong>3.58 inches<\/strong> (90.9 mm)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Annandale<\/strong>: <strong>3.55 inches<\/strong> (90.2 mm)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Glencoe<\/strong>: <strong>3.36 inches<\/strong> (85.3 mm)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Montevideo<\/strong>: <strong>3.30 inches<\/strong> (83.8 mm)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spicer<\/strong>: <strong>3.09 inches<\/strong> (78.5 mm)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These <strong>extensive rain events<\/strong> have overwhelmed the <strong>region&#8217;s drainage systems<\/strong>, leading to <strong>standing water on roadways<\/strong>, structural damage, and <strong>localized flooding emergencies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Big Stone County under flood warning<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Big Stone County<\/strong>, in <strong>far west-central Minnesota<\/strong>, is under a <strong>Flood Warning<\/strong> until <strong>9:15 a.m. on Saturday<\/strong>. The <strong>Big Stone County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/strong> has reported that <strong>several roads<\/strong> in the area are currently <strong>flooded<\/strong> or have <strong>suffered damage<\/strong> due to <strong>forceful water flow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Motorists<\/strong> are urged to proceed with <strong>extreme caution<\/strong>, as <strong>impassable conditions<\/strong> may persist for <strong>multiple days<\/strong>. Some roads may remain <strong>completely submerged<\/strong> or <strong>compromised structurally<\/strong>, increasing the risk of further <strong>transportation disruptions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Communities along Big Stone Lake at risk<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Property owners along <strong>Big Stone Lake<\/strong> are being <strong>urged<\/strong> to <strong>closely monitor water levels<\/strong>. With more rainfall expected, there is growing concern over <strong>shoreline flooding<\/strong> and <strong>property damage<\/strong>.
