This balmy air extends through <strong>central and southern Lower Michigan<\/strong>, where temperatures will rise into the <strong>mid-to-upper 70s\u00b0F (24\u201326\u00b0C)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>However, heading north is like stepping into a different season. <strong>Traverse City<\/strong>, <strong>Grayling<\/strong>, and <strong>Oscoda<\/strong> will see <strong>highs stuck in the 60s\u00b0F (16\u201320\u00b0C)<\/strong>. Even cooler air dominates <strong>north of Traverse City and Gaylord<\/strong>, where <strong>temperatures won&#8217;t budge past the 50s\u00b0F (10\u201315\u00b0C)<\/strong>. If you&#8217;re traveling across the state today, be ready for a <strong>shock in weather<\/strong> as you cross regions.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Saturday, June 14: Cooler air hangs on in the north<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The <strong>temperature gradient<\/strong> continues Saturday, though the <strong>cool zone shrinks slightly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>warmest region<\/strong> will once again be <strong>Grand Rapids<\/strong> and <strong>west-central Lower Michigan<\/strong>, reaching <strong>80\u00b0F (27\u00b0C)<\/strong> under partly sunny skies. The <strong>70s\u00b0F (21\u201326\u00b0C)<\/strong> will stretch further north, warming up areas like <strong>Traverse City<\/strong>. But near the <strong>Mackinac Straits<\/strong> and throughout the <strong>Upper Peninsula<\/strong>, <strong>temperatures<\/strong> will linger in the <strong>50s and 60s\u00b0F (10\u201318\u00b0C)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Far <strong>southern Michigan<\/strong> might feel chillier than expected due to <strong>cloud cover and scattered showers<\/strong>, keeping highs subdued.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Sunday, June 15: More uniform warmth returns<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Sunday offers some <strong>weather relief<\/strong>, with <strong>more consistent temperatures across Michigan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Southern Michigan<\/strong> can expect <strong>upper-70s\u00b0F (25\u201326\u00b0C)<\/strong>, while <strong>northern Lower Michigan<\/strong> will settle into the <strong>low-to-mid 70s\u00b0F (21\u201323\u00b0C)<\/strong>.
