The <strong>National Weather Service<\/strong> has confirmed that <strong>significant precipitation<\/strong> fell between <strong>Thursday afternoon and Friday morning<\/strong>, particularly across <strong>central and western counties<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>St. Cloud<\/strong>, <strong>1.10 inches<\/strong> of rain (about <strong>28 mm<\/strong>) were recorded at the <strong>St. Cloud Regional Airport<\/strong>, but that\u2019s modest compared to the <strong>inundation seen elsewhere<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the <strong>most affected areas as of Friday morning<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Raymond<\/strong>: <strong>6.86 inches<\/strong> (<strong>174 mm<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Willmar<\/strong>: <strong>4.21 inches<\/strong> (<strong>107 mm<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Appleton<\/strong>: <strong>3.58 inches<\/strong> (<strong>91 mm<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Annandale<\/strong>: <strong>3.55 inches<\/strong> (<strong>90 mm<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Glencoe<\/strong>: <strong>3.36 inches<\/strong> (<strong>85 mm<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Montevideo<\/strong>: <strong>3.30 inches<\/strong> (<strong>84 mm<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spicer<\/strong>: <strong>3.09 inches<\/strong> (<strong>78 mm<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Flood warning in effect for Big Stone County<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A <strong>Flood Warning<\/strong> remains active for <strong>Big Stone County<\/strong> in <strong>far west-central Minnesota<\/strong> until <strong>9:15 a.m. on Saturday<\/strong>. The <strong>Big Stone County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/strong> has issued a strong <strong>public advisory<\/strong> due to <strong>extensive road flooding<\/strong> and <strong>structural water damage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Residents are urged to <strong>exercise extreme caution<\/strong> when traveling, as many <strong>roadways remain underwater<\/strong>, and some may have <strong>suffered erosion or collapse<\/strong> from intense water flows. Some <strong>streets and highways<\/strong> could be <strong>impassable for several days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Rising water levels along Big Stone Lake<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Property owners<\/strong> along the shores of <strong>Big Stone Lake<\/strong> are being asked to <strong>carefully monitor water levels<\/strong>.
