The second is <strong>southcentral Kansas<\/strong>, where <strong>scattered storms are flaring after sunset<\/strong>, adding to today\u2019s already <strong>impressive rainfall totals<\/strong> across the <strong>Sunflower State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Slight Risk<\/strong> for <strong>severe weather<\/strong> remains active in both regions overnight, with the rest of the state under a <strong>Marginal Risk<\/strong>. The main threats tonight include <strong>gusty winds<\/strong> and <strong>hail<\/strong>, particularly in isolated pockets as storms evolve toward early morning.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Widespread rain by sunrise across southcentral and southeastern Kansas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By <strong>sunrise on Sunday<\/strong>, <strong>showers and thunderstorms<\/strong> will expand across <strong>southcentral<\/strong> and <strong>southeastern Kansas<\/strong>, mimicking the <strong>early morning downpours<\/strong> seen on <strong>Saturday<\/strong>. Rain will once again <strong>taper off into the afternoon<\/strong>, but not before bringing another <strong>dose of heavy rainfall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Temperatures<\/strong> will reflect this <strong>rain-cooled air<\/strong>, with <strong>central Kansas<\/strong> struggling to climb past the <strong>mid to upper 80s\u00b0F (29\u201331\u00b0C)<\/strong>. Meanwhile, <strong>western Kansas<\/strong>, away from the morning moisture, will warm into the <strong>low 90s\u00b0F (32\u201334\u00b0C)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Storms return Sunday evening with more severe potential<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As <strong>Father\u2019s Day evening<\/strong> approaches, yet <strong>another round of storms<\/strong> is expected, particularly across <strong>northwest Kansas<\/strong>. <strong>A Slight Risk<\/strong> is in place again, with potential for <strong>strong wind gusts<\/strong> and <strong>large hail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A <strong>line of storms<\/strong> will form over <strong>eastern Colorado<\/strong> and move into <strong>Kansas<\/strong> by <strong>late Sunday night<\/strong>, likely breaking apart into <strong>clusters<\/strong> by the time it reaches <strong>central Kansas<\/strong> early <strong>Monday morning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stormy overnight pattern holds into early week<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The state remains locked in an <strong>unsettled, nocturnal storm cycle<\/strong>, with <strong>late evening storm development<\/strong> followed by <strong>morning clearance<\/strong> through at least <strong>Monday<\/strong>.
