These storms are forecast to reach <strong>south-central Kansas<\/strong>, including the <strong>Wichita area<\/strong>, <strong>after 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Tuesday\u2019s cold front could trigger severe weather<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A <strong>cold front<\/strong> sweeping through <strong>Kansas on Tuesday<\/strong> will likely <strong>ignite new storms<\/strong> in the <strong>late afternoon and evening hours<\/strong>. Some of these may become <strong>severe<\/strong>, with <strong>damaging wind gusts<\/strong>, <strong>hail<\/strong>, and <strong>heavy rainfall<\/strong> in isolated pockets. Despite the incoming front, <strong>Tuesday\u2019s high temperatures<\/strong> will remain in the <strong>lower to mid-90s Fahrenheit<\/strong> (around <strong>33\u201335\u00b0C<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Wednesday brings slight relief, then the heat dome builds<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Following the storms, <strong>Wednesday<\/strong> will offer <strong>slightly cooler<\/strong> conditions with <strong>afternoon highs<\/strong> in the <strong>upper 80s Fahrenheit<\/strong> (about <strong>31\u00b0C<\/strong>) under <strong>mostly sunny skies<\/strong>.
