While severe intensity is not widespread<\/strong> with this first wave, some localized gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall<\/strong> are possible, especially in higher elevations and urban corridors.<\/p>\n By Wednesday afternoon<\/strong>, the weather will temporarily stabilize, but it will feel noticeably hotter and more humid<\/strong>. Expect temperatures in the low to mid-90s\u00b0F (around 34\u00b0C)<\/strong> with a brisk south breeze<\/strong>, signaling moisture return<\/strong> ahead of the second system. Skies will be partly sunny<\/strong>, but cloud cover will increase by evening.<\/p>\n The second and potentially more intense round<\/strong> of storms is forecast to develop Wednesday night<\/strong> and move quickly across Arkansas<\/strong> during the early hours of Thursday morning<\/strong>. A few storms in this round could turn severe<\/strong>, with the main risks being strong straight-line winds and large hail<\/strong>. Localized power outages and minor wind damage<\/strong> are not out of the question.<\/p>\n Once the storms exit, Arkansas<\/strong> will shift into a classic summer heat pattern<\/strong>. By Thursday afternoon<\/strong>, the sun will dominate<\/strong> and temperatures will rise sharply<\/strong> into the upper 90s\u00b0F (36\u201337\u00b0C)<\/strong>.
