Severe storms and flooding rain likely across southern Minnesota<\/strong><\/p>\n Wednesday, June 26 \u2014 MINNESOTA<\/strong> is bracing for multiple rounds of intense thunderstorms<\/strong> and heavy rainfall<\/strong> through Thursday<\/strong>, as warm, unstable air<\/strong> surges northward from the Plains. According to meteorologist Sven Sundgaard<\/strong>, the most significant impacts will be felt in southern Minnesota<\/strong>, where a warm front<\/strong> is expected to spark severe weather<\/strong>, especially later today.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Rainfall totals<\/strong> could easily reach between 1 to 4 inches<\/strong> (25 to 100 mm), with localized areas<\/strong> seeing even higher amounts<\/strong> where storms train over the same locations<\/strong>. But this lull will be short-lived.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The weekend<\/strong> will usher in another round of unsettled weather<\/strong>, accompanied by hot and humid air<\/strong>.
