But by late morning, sunshine breaks through<\/strong> east of the Carquinez Strait<\/strong>, especially around Napa<\/strong> and Novato<\/strong>. Fairfield<\/strong> and Vacaville<\/strong> begin the day clear and sunny<\/strong>. Afternoon temperatures<\/strong> reach the low to mid-80s\u00b0F (27\u201329\u00b0C)<\/strong> in Santa Rosa<\/strong> and nearby valleys, with upper 70s\u00b0F (25\u201326\u00b0C)<\/strong> in Petaluma<\/strong>, San Rafael<\/strong>, and Novato<\/strong>.
