Air quality alerts<\/strong> remain active through the morning hours<\/strong>, but sunrise<\/strong> is helping to disperse the trapped smoke<\/strong> from last night\u2019s fireworks<\/strong>, as the temperature inversion<\/strong>\u2014a layer of warmer air<\/strong> sitting above the surface\u2014is beginning to break down<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Today: Mostly sunny, warm and slightly hazy<\/strong><\/p>\n Early risers<\/strong> may notice patchy fog<\/strong> lingering near low-lying areas<\/strong>, but mostly sunny skies<\/strong> will dominate by mid-morning. There\u2019s a slight chance of an isolated afternoon shower<\/strong>, but most areas<\/strong> will remain dry and warm<\/strong>.
