Tuesday\u2019s weather across northern and western portions of Middle Tennessee<\/strong> brings an increased chance of strong thunderstorms<\/strong>, especially for areas north of I-40<\/strong> and west of I-65<\/strong>. According to the WKRN Weather Authority<\/strong>, a Marginal Risk (level 1 out of 5)<\/strong> has been issued for these locations, meaning isolated strong to severe storms<\/strong> are possible.<\/p>\n

Gusty winds<\/strong> and torrential rain<\/strong> are the primary concerns<\/strong>, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours<\/strong>. While showers may begin earlier in the day, the most intense weather activity<\/strong> is forecast between mid-afternoon and late evening<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Localized flash flooding<\/strong> could become an issue as the region is expected to pick up around 1 to 2 inches of rain (25 to 50 mm)<\/strong> through Friday<\/strong>.
