In Monument<\/strong>, north of Colorado Springs, hail accumulation blanketed roads like snow<\/strong>, according to photos submitted by residents.<\/p>\n El Paso County<\/strong> was hit the hardest, with repeated reports of 1 to 2-inch hail<\/strong> throughout the day in places like:<\/p>\n Colorado Springs<\/strong>, including its southern and western sectors<\/strong>, In the Denver Metro Area<\/strong>, Edgewater<\/strong> saw the largest hail<\/strong> at 1.5 inches (3.8 cm)<\/strong>, while Denver proper<\/strong>, Aurora<\/strong>, and Wheat Ridge<\/strong> all saw hail around 1 inch (2.5 cm)<\/strong>\u2014roughly quarter-sized<\/strong>.<\/p>\n To the northeast<\/strong>, Logan County<\/strong> also experienced hailfall<\/strong>, particularly 5 miles north of Dailey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This storm system is not over<\/strong>.
