That intense heat, combined with saturated air<\/strong>, is creating the perfect environment for storms to rapidly intensify once they form.<\/p>\n As the front pushes eastward, the severe risk is expected to spread<\/strong> later this week into parts of Nebraska<\/strong>, Colorado<\/strong>, Kansas<\/strong>, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula<\/strong>.
