The setup isn\u2019t especially favorable for widespread severe weather, but forecasters are watching for slow-moving thunderstorms<\/strong> capable of producing torrential downpours<\/strong> that could lead to localized flooding<\/strong>, especially in urban areas<\/strong> and poor drainage zones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Air quality<\/strong> remains an issue across parts of the region, with smoke from Canadian wildfires<\/strong> contributing to elevated pollution levels<\/strong>. A shift in wind direction following the frontal passage could bring some relief by late Tuesday into Wednesday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n By midweek, expect a sharp cool-down<\/strong>.
