Metro Detroit<\/strong> is in for another humid and stormy stretch<\/strong> as we move through Saturday<\/strong>, with a marginal risk<\/strong> for severe thunderstorms<\/strong> expected across parts of southeast Michigan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After a warm and muggy<\/strong> start to the day, temperatures<\/strong> are peaking in the mid to upper 80s (around 30\u00b0C)<\/strong> this afternoon, though it will feel closer to the 90s (32-35\u00b0C)<\/strong> when factoring in the heat index<\/strong>. Shower activity<\/strong> is possible, especially in areas closer to the Ohio border<\/strong>, with non-severe thunderstorms<\/strong> developing through the day.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Looking ahead to Saturday<\/strong>, stronger storm cells<\/strong> are expected to move in between 2PM and midnight<\/strong>, especially along and south of the I-96\/I-696 corridor<\/strong>, including parts of Detroit<\/strong>, Dearborn<\/strong>, Southfield<\/strong>, and Livonia<\/strong>.
