Tropical Storm Chantal brings scattered showers Monday
Starting Monday, Chantal’s remnants will move across the region, bringing a wave of tropical moisture into Maryland. While the system is expected to weaken as it crosses land, its rain bands will still produce scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Most skies will stay cloudy, but the day will not be a complete washout.
Humidity surges and heat intensifies through the workweek
As Chantal moves away, humidity levels will increase dramatically.
